René’s Hair Shoppe is located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. A small and relaxed salon, René’s has a reputation for making all clients feel comfortable while offering the highest quality of services for men, women and children.
Originally a barbershop, René’s has been family-owned and in existence for over 80 years. Owner René Schovon took over the business from her father in 1978. Continuing the traditional barbershop services passed down, the shop quickly expanded to include women’s cuts, color and styling.
René’s Hair Shoppe is open six days a week. Appointments can be made by phone. Walk-ins are also welcome.
